Irresistible Jacked Shrimp


  

Take 24 large raw peeled shrimp and fry them in a mixture of ½ butter and ½ olive oil until they just begin to take on their red hue. Add eight cloves of coarsely chopped garlic, one tablespoon of Tabasco sauce, two tablespoons of Pernod, 12 capers and a teaspoon of sea salt. Toss ingredients in the hot pan for three or four minutes making sure the garlic does not burn. Serve heavily sprinkled with chopped flat leaf parsley.
